Larry
B. "Ben" Alexander, Jr.
Ben, a firm shareholder, is
a member of the firm's Real Estate, Business/Corporate Services,
Agricultural Law and Private Client Services practice groups. Ben has
performed sophisticated legal transactions for a broad range of clients,
including retail, office and community developers, business entities,
entrepreneurs, lenders and agricultural users.
Ben graduated with high
honors from the University of Florida College of Law, where he was
named to the Order of the Coif. He received a Bachelor of Science
degree in Business, cum laude, from Wake Forest University.
Prior to joining Jones Foster in 2004, Ben was an attorney at Sutherland
Asbill & Brennan LLP in Atlanta, Georgia and at Carlton Fields, P.A. in
West Palm Beach, Florida.
Ben's community involvement
includes serving on the Board of Directors of the Chamber of Commerce of
the Palm Beaches, the Board of Governors of the Sailfish Club of Florida
and the Community Advisory Board of the First Bank of the Palm Beaches
and serving as an executive committee member for the Young Friends of
the Historical Society of Palm Beach County and the Young Friends of the
Norton Museum of Art.

real estate investor in the acquisition and development of
approximately 4,100 acres in Martin County, Florida.

real estate investors in the acquisitions of surgical centers and
medical office buildings throughout Florida.

Handling of transactional
and securities aspects of multi-million dollar joint ventures for
real estate and business entity clients, including company
formations and securities offerings.

Representation of several
companies throughout various industries in connection with their
creation and operation and their merger, acquisition and sale
transactions.

Represented a national
real estate investor in the development of an equestrian residential
community with private club facilities in Hobe Sound, Florida.

Represented a national
real estate investor in the leasing, operation and sale of a
first-class office building in downtown West Palm Beach, Florida
containing approximately 240,000 rentable square feet.

real estate investors in the leasing, operation and management of
various first-class office buildings throughout Florida.
