Brian D. Kennedy
 

Brian, a firm shareholder, concentrates his practice in the areas of estate planning, taxation and corporate law.  He is admitted to practice in Florida, New Mexico, the United States Tax Court and the Supreme Court of the United States.  Brian is a member of the Florida Bar (Tax Section), the State Bar of New Mexico, the American Bar Association and the Palm Beach County Bar Association.  Brian has been listed as a "Rising Star" by Law and Politics Florida Super Lawyers Magazine.

Brian received his LL.M. from the University of Florida in 2001.  He graduated cum laude with his J.D. from Stetson University in 2000 and received his B.S. in Finance from Florida State University in 1991. 

Practice Highlights:

• Represented a large regional home builder in a one hundred million dollar (plus) asset sale to a national land developer/home builder. 

• Successfully represented local charities before the IRS with respect to receiving and maintaining their Internal Revenue Code §501(c)(3) tax exempt status.
