Carlos concentrates his
practice in corporate and business law, real estate and secured
transactions and has served as counsel to various not-for-profit
organizations including The Maltz Jupiter Theatre and the
Jupiter-Tequesta-Juno Beach Chamber of Commerce.
Born and raised in Puerto
Rico, Carlos captained
the 1976 Puerto Rican Olympic Swim Team, finishing fourth in his event
and missing the bronze medal by 6/100 of a second. He was also
NCAA champion in the 100 yard backstroke in 1979. He was a
four-year All American Team member while attending the University of
Alabama, and has been inducted into the International Swimming Hall of
Fame and Puerto Rico's Sports Hall of Fame.

Represented a regional
petroleum distributor in the acquisition of a 35 million gallon
distributor that resulted in one of South Florida's largest private
oil companies.

He has assisted dozens of
family-owned companies transition to a new generation of owners,
including some of the oldest enterprises in Northern Palm Beach
County.

Represented a
not-for-profit company in its acquisition of the Jupiter Theatre,
preserving the landmark institution as an operating theatre for the
benefit of the community.
