John, a shareholder with the
firm, represents clients in all types of employment matters including
discrimination law, disability law, employment and non-competition
contracts, wage and hour, sexual harassment, and family and medical
leave law. He counsels management in preventative measures, liability
and compliance with federal, state and local employment laws. In
addition, John handles a variety of commercial and business litigation
matters, with expertise in insurance coverage issues and trade secret
disputes.
John is Board Certified by The Florida
Bar in Labor and Employment Law, Business and Civil Trial Litigation.
He is Board Certified as a Trial Advocate by the American Board of
Trial Advocates (ABOTA). He is a member of The Florida Bar, and the South Carolina Bar.
John is admitted to practice in the United States Supreme Court, the U.S.
Courts of Appeals for the 4th and 11th Circuits and the U.S. District
Courts for the Southern and Middle Districts of Florida. John
is listed as a

Chairman of The Florida Bar’s Labor and Employment Law Board Certification
Committee. John has

his undergraduate degree from Washington and Lee University and his J.D.
from the University of South Carolina where he was an Editor of the South
Carolina Law Review.
