Mark, a
shareholder with the firm, has been with
Jones Foster since 2000. He has focused his practice in the
area of commercial real estate transactions, where he has a broad range
of experience in the acquisition, financing, development, re-development
and sale of retail shopping centers, office buildings and other
commercial properties. Mark has been listed as a "Rising
Star" by Law and Politics Florida Super Lawyers Magazine.
Mark is a 2000
graduate with honors from the University of Florida College of Law,
where he received book awards in appellate advocacy, income taxation,
secured transactions, and income taxation of estates and trusts.
In 1997 he graduated from the University of Florida with honors,
earning a
B.S. in Business Administration, with emphasis in Finance, where he
belonged to the Honor Society of Phi Kappa Phi, Beta Gamma Sigma Honor
Society and the Golden Key National Honor Society.

successfully represented one of the largest Florida-based owners and
operators of retail shopping centers in the acquisition and
financing of a portfolio of properties totaling in excess of
2,000,000 square feet of leaseable space.

the borrower in connection with the refinancing of a 327,000 square
foot retail center in Orlando, Florida, including the full
defeasance of the existing mortgage loan.
